Description

A delightful appetizer combining sweet peaches and creamy burrata cheese atop crispy toasted baguette slices, drizzled with honey and balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette, sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 2 ripe peaches
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Flaky salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the baguette by slicing it into 1/2-inch thick pieces.
  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the baguette slices.
  4. Toast the bread for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Prepare the peaches by washing and slicing them into thin wedges.
  6. Prepare the burrata cheese by tearing it into bite-size pieces.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to broil and place the crostini on the top rack for 2 minutes.
  8. Assemble the crostini with burrata, peach slices, and torn basil leaves.
  9. Add honey and balsamic glaze, then sprinkle with flaky salt before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
