Nutella Banana Hand Pies

Description

Delightful hand pies combining gooey Nutella and sweet banana in a crispy, flaky crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into circles about 4 inches in diameter.
  3. Spread about a tablespoon of Nutella on one half of each circle, leaving a small border.
  4. Place sliced bananas on top of the Nutella.
  5. Fold the other half of the dough over and press the edges together to seal. Crimp with a fork.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the hand pies, optionally sprinkling with sugar.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1-2 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge.
