Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
6. Fold in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake them and let them finish setting on the baking sheet.
Toast the macadamia nuts beforehand to enhance flavor.
Store in an airtight container to keep cookies soft and fresh.
