Description
Warm and cozy spiced apple cider, perfect for fall gatherings or chilly evenings. Infused with cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg for a fragrant seasonal drink.
Ingredients
6 cups apple cider or juice
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 orange, sliced
Optional: apple slices, cinnamon sticks, or star anise for garnish
Instructions
1. Pour apple cider into a medium saucepan.
2. Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, and orange slices.
3. Heat over medium heat until hot, but not boiling, about 10–15 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and strain to remove spices and orange slices.
5. Serve warm with optional garnishes like apple slices or a cinnamon stick.
Notes
Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
Adjust spices to taste for stronger or milder flavor.
For an adult version, add a splash of rum or bourbon.
