Description

A delicious twist on the classic smash burger in a convenient bowl format with crispy potatoes, ground beef, and melted cheese.

  • 3 medium red potatoes, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup onions, caramelized
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ cup sliced pickles (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Toss the diced red potatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper and preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Air fry potatoes for 16-18 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. Caramelize the Onions: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook sliced onions for 10-15 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  3. Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, raise heat to medium-high, add ground beef and season. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Make the Sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl.
  5. Assemble the Bowl: Start with a layer of crispy potatoes, add cooked beef, caramelized onions, shredded cheese, and drizzle with sauce. Add optional toppings if desired.
  6. Serve: Present in a deep bowl and enjoy this satisfying meal.
