Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken cooked in a flavorful gravy, perfect for busy families.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet (1 oz) chicken gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker and stir into the gravy until blended.
  6. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a thicker gravy, whisk in a cornstarch slurry before serving. Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or frozen for 2-3 months.
