Quick and easy roasted garlic green beans cooked to perfection with a flavorful garlic and olive oil coating. A simple, healthy side dish perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: lemon zest or Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Toss green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
3. Spread the green beans evenly on a baking sheet.
4. Roast for 15–20 minutes, tossing halfway, until tender and lightly browned.
5. Remove from oven, optionally sprinkle with lemon zest or Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes before roasting.
Make sure green beans are evenly coated with olive oil for uniform roasting.
Can be prepared ahead and reheated in the oven for a few minutes.
