Description

A delightful dessert that combines sweet and tart rhubarb with a crunchy oat topping.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the chopped rhubarb and granulated sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the sugar-coated rhubarb into a baking dish.
  4. Mix the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Pour the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the rhubarb in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Cool slightly before serving warm.
