Delicious peanut butter cookies topped with a chocolate Hershey Kiss, perfect for any occasion.

- 1–1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Additional granulated sugar for rolling
- 30 unwrapped Hershey Kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
- Prepare the dry ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the margarine and peanut butter together until smooth. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Combine the egg and vanilla extract into the mixture, mixing until combined.
- Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Shape the cookies into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
- Place the cookie balls on baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 13-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Add a Hershey Kiss into the center of each cookie right after baking.
- Cool the cookies on the sheets for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer.
