Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans petit diced tomatoes
  • 1.5 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add elbow macaroni, and cook for 3 minutes less than package instructions. Drain.
  3. In a large skillet, heat over high heat, add ground beef and onions. Cook for 6-7 minutes until browned, draining excess fat.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes, mixing well.
  6. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  7. Mix in cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese. Transfer to a heat-safe skillet or casserole dish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly with melted cheese on top.

Notes

For extra flavor, add tomato paste, vegetables, or crushed red pepper flakes. Customize with different meats or cheeses as desired.
