- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans petit diced tomatoes
- 1.5 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add elbow macaroni, and cook for 3 minutes less than package instructions. Drain.
- In a large skillet, heat over high heat, add ground beef and onions. Cook for 6-7 minutes until browned, draining excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes, mixing well.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste.
- Mix in cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese. Transfer to a heat-safe skillet or casserole dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly with melted cheese on top.
Notes
For extra flavor, add tomato paste, vegetables, or crushed red pepper flakes. Customize with different meats or cheeses as desired.
