This No-Bake Choc-Cherry Slice is a nostalgic, rich, and chewy dessert bar made with crushed biscuits, cherries, and coconut — all topped with a smooth chocolate layer. Easy to make and perfect for holidays or any time you crave a sweet treat!
Ingredients
**Base Layer:**
250g plain sweet biscuits (like Marie or Digestives), crushed
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup glace cherries, halved
100g melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
**Chocolate Topping:**
200g dark or milk chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp coconut oil or butter
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) square pan with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine crushed biscuits, coconut, cocoa powder, and cherries.
3. Stir in condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla until evenly combined.
4. Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
5. In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate and coconut oil together until smooth.
6. Pour chocolate over the base and spread evenly.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
8. Cut into slices using a warm knife and serve chilled.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
You can replace glace cherries with dried cranberries for a tangier version.
