- 4 oz dark chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Melt dark chocolate and stir into the batter.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, testing for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool the cupcakes for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Make frosting by mixing melted chocolate and butter, then adding powdered sugar.
- Frost the completely cooled cupcakes with the chocolate frosting.
- Enjoy and serve at room temperature.
