Description
Sweet and tender maple-glazed carrots cooked to perfection with butter and a hint of maple syrup. A simple and delicious side dish for any meal.
Ingredients
1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks or rounds
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
2. Add carrots, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Drizzle maple syrup over the carrots and continue to cook for 8–10 minutes, or until carrots are tender and glazed, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
5. Serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh, evenly cut carrots for consistent cooking.
Adjust maple syrup for sweetness preference.
Can be prepared ahead and gently reheated before serving.
