  • 5 large garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 large lemon (juice and zest)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the butter melts.
  2. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Watch closely to avoid burning the garlic.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Make sure to stir them regularly to cook evenly.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and zest along with chopped parsley, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
