- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix until you get a crumbly texture for the crust.
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Bake the crust for about 15 minutes until light golden.
- Whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, baking powder, and salt for the filling.
- Pour the lemon mixture over the hot crust.
- Bake again for an additional 20-25 minutes until set with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
