Ingredients
1 lb ground halal beef (80/20 recommended)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 slices cheddar cheese (halal-certified)
4 burger buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Onion slices
Pickles
Ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently—do not overwork.
2. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
3. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
4. Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow it to melt.
5. Toast burger buns lightly.
6. Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and sauce of choice.
7. Serve immediately with fries or salad.
Notes
For extra juicy burgers, avoid pressing down on patties while cooking.
