Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Pour salsa verde over the chicken in the last 2 minutes and top with Pepper Jack cheese.
  6. Remove from grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
