Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 small red onion, finely diced
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Mash avocados with a fork until smooth but still slightly chunky.
3. Add diced onion, tomatoes, jalapeño, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
4. Mix until well combined and adjust seasoning to taste.
5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cumin or garlic powder.
To store, press plastic wrap directly onto the guacamole surface to prevent browning.
Best enjoyed fresh within a few hours.
