- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Mix until all crumbs are coated in butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Make the filling: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer on medium speed until it’s smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream. Use a mixer on high speed to whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
- Combine all components: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
- Fill the crust: Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
- Chill: Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
- Serve: Release the cheesecake from the springform pan, slice, and serve with your choice of toppings.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and avoid overmixing the whipped cream.
