Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Mix until all crumbs are coated in butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Make the filling: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer on medium speed until it’s smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream. Use a mixer on high speed to whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Combine all components: Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  5. Fill the crust: Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
  6. Chill: Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight.
  7. Serve: Release the cheesecake from the springform pan, slice, and serve with your choice of toppings.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese and avoid overmixing the whipped cream.
