- 3 cups Chicken, cooked
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 medium Potato, diced
- 1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
- 1 small Yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 6 tbsp Butter, unsalted
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 2/3 cups Whole milk
- 2 cups Mixed vegetables, frozen
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the cooked chicken, minced garlic, garlic powder, diced potato, thyme, and chopped yellow onion in a large mixing bowl.
- Stir in the chicken broth and frozen mixed vegetables until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper in another bowl.
- Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Incorporate the whole milk and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
- Pour the chicken mixture into a greased baking dish and spread the batter over the top.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
