  • 3 cups Chicken, cooked
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 medium Potato, diced
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
  • 1 small Yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 1/3 cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 6 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 2/3 cups Whole milk
  • 2 cups Mixed vegetables, frozen

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, minced garlic, garlic powder, diced potato, thyme, and chopped yellow onion in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth and frozen mixed vegetables until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper in another bowl.
  5. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Incorporate the whole milk and shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
  7. Pour the chicken mixture into a greased baking dish and spread the batter over the top.
  8. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
