This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken is rich, flavorful, and perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner. Tender chicken breasts are smothered in a velvety garlic parmesan cream sauce the whole family will love.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
5. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until sauce is smooth and creamy.
6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and let simmer for 3–4 minutes.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately over pasta, rice, or vegetables.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts if preferred.
Best served with fettuccine or mashed potatoes.
