Description

A quick and easy, one-pan meal featuring succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, served over pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Pasta of choice (spaghetti or linguine)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain it and set it aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Make sure the butter is bubbly but not browned.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Add the white wine and lemon juice, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing everything so the pasta is well coated in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with crusty garlic bread and fresh lemon wedges for an enhanced experience.
