Description
A quick and easy, one-pan meal featuring succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, served over pasta.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Pasta of choice (spaghetti or linguine)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain it and set it aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Make sure the butter is bubbly but not browned.
- Sauté the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add the white wine and lemon juice, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing everything so the pasta is well coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with crusty garlic bread and fresh lemon wedges for an enhanced experience.
