Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and then the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine the flour mixture with the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Prepare ungreased baking sheets and drop rounded balls of cookie dough onto them.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown edges form while centers remain soft.
- Cool the cookies on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
