- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the vegetable oil, water, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before adding the eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
