Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, half of the cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, diced onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Mix well and pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and drizzle melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving to let the flavors settle.

Notes

Serve warm with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, or crispy bacon. Consider adding sour cream or sliced green onions on top for extra flavor.
