Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cupcake pan with liners.
- Combine the flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cream the softened butter in another bowl until smooth.
- Add the eggs to the butter one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Beat the peanut butter until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream, mixing until fluffy.
- Frost cooled cupcakes with the peanut butter frosting generously.
