Description

Juicy chicken, sautéed peppers, onions, and melted provolone all piled into a toasted hoagie roll — these Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches are the ultimate 15-minute comfort meal!

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thinly sliced)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

4 slices provolone cheese

2 hoagie rolls (split and lightly toasted)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. Add sliced chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 4–5 minutes until golden and cooked through.

3. Add sliced peppers and onions. Sauté another 3–4 minutes until softened.

4. Divide the mixture into two portions in the skillet and top each with provolone cheese. Cover until melted.

5. Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture into toasted hoagie rolls.

6. Serve immediately while hot and gooey.

Notes

For extra flavor, spread mayonnaise or garlic aioli inside the rolls.

You can swap provolone for mozzarella or American cheese.
