Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thinly
2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1–2 tbsp vegetable oil for stir-frying
Optional: sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
3. Add chicken slices and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, green beans, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
5. Return chicken to the pan and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir well to coat and heat through for 1–2 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
7. Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in a tablespoon of soy sauce and a pinch of cornstarch for 15 minutes before cooking.
Swap green beans for broccoli, snap peas, or asparagus for variety.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; reheat gently.
