Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 sandwich buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
1/4 cup mayonnaise or garlic aioli
Optional: cheese slices, pickles
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Marinate chicken breasts for at least 15 minutes.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes per side.
3. Toast sandwich buns lightly.
4. Spread mayonnaise or garlic aioli on the bottom bun.
5. Place lettuce, tomato slices, and cooked chicken on the bun.
6. Add optional cheese or pickles if desired.
7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or roasted red peppers.
Can be made ahead: prepare chicken in advance and assemble sandwiches when ready to serve.
