Description
A creamy and comforting Chicken Alfredo Pasta that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions (about 8-10 minutes), then drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the mixture is smooth and thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss gently to coat the pasta with the creamy sauce.
- Plate the hot Chicken Alfredo Pasta and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese, side salad, or garlic bread. Pairs nicely with white wine.
