Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions (about 8-10 minutes), then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the mixture is smooth and thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
  6. Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss gently to coat the pasta with the creamy sauce.
  7. Plate the hot Chicken Alfredo Pasta and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
