Instructions
- Cook the beef and onion: Start by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook this mixture for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
- Drain excess fat: Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Add garlic: After draining, add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
- Stir in sloppy joe sauce: Pour in the sloppy joe sauce and stir everything together. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Toast the garlic bread: While the meat simmers, prepare the garlic bread until crispy, using a toaster or broiler.
- Assemble the sandwiches: Spoon the beef mixture onto the garlic bread slices.
- Add cheese: Top the sloppy joe mixture with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Broil: Place the assembled garlic bread on a baking sheet and broil until the cheese is melted and golden.
