- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup (32g) cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups (360ml) buttermilk
- ¾ cup (180ml) milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Melt the unsalted butter over low heat and let it cool slightly.
- Mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Slowly whisk in the cooled melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; a few lumps are okay.
- Cook the batter in the preheated waffle maker according to its instructions until golden brown.
- Serve warm or keep them in an oven at 200°F (93°C) until ready to enjoy.

Waffles are best served fresh with various toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
