- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Mix the eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla into the bananas until smooth.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, covering with foil if browning too quickly.
- Check doneness with a toothpick—it should come out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
