- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar) in a large bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients (milk, applesauce, and vanilla extract) in another bowl.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients together gently until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples evenly into the batter.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Make the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and serve immediately.
