Welcome to CookFoody.com — Where Every Recipe Tells a Story

Who We Are
Hi there! I’m Olivia Parker, 32 years old, based in Austin, Texas, and I lead our small but passionate kitchen team. Ever since I was a child standing on a wooden stool next to my grandmother’s stove, I’ve believed that cooking isn’t just about ingredients—it’s about stories, connections, and the joy of creating something comforting yet unexpected. Over the years I’ve worked in kitchens from local bistros to busy brunch cafes, and what I’ve learned is that the best dishes come from heart, experimentation, and a willingness to sometimes fail (and then try again). My mission is to craft recipes that anyone—whether a beginner or a seasoned home cook—can make, adapt, and enjoy.

Meet the Team

Marcus Thompson, 29, hails from New Orleans and serves as our sous-chef of savory flavors. He brings bold spice combinations and Southern-Cajun roots into the kitchen, turning simple ingredients into layered tastes you’ll want to share. His experiments often lead to our most talked-about dishes—and yes, occasionally to ones we laugh about later when they didn’t quite go as planned.

Emma Rodriguez

Emma Rodriguez, 27, is our pastry wizard and brings a gentle, creative energy that balances the boldness of Marcus. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she began baking at home, selling cookies at farmers’ markets, and now she transforms flour, sugar and butter into desserts that tell a story. From flaky pies to inventive pastries, she reminds everyone that patience and play are key ingredients in the kitchen.

Our Philosophy & Process
We believe food should be approachable, fun, adaptable and a little bit adventurous. We don’t chase trends for the sake of it—we build on time-honored comfort classics, then add our own twist. We value mistakes as opportunities to learn (because we’ve had our share), and we believe that each recipe should leave you with confidence, not confusion. In our test kitchen we measure, taste, tweak and test again until we know the result works in a variety of kitchens and for cooks of different levels.

Why We Cook Together
Cooking brings people together—whether around a dinner table, an open flame, or a shared memory. We work as a team because every dish is richer when more than one mind, spirit and set of hands contributes. So when you browse through our site, try a recipe, or follow our story, know that you’re not just cooking a dish—you’re joining our table. Welcome, and let’s create something delicious together.
