Description
A quick and flavorful chicken gyro wrap with marinated chicken, fresh veggies, and creamy tzatziki – perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thin
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 pita breads
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
1/2 cup sliced red onions
1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Add chicken slices and marinate for 30 minutes.
3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes.
4. Warm pita breads in a dry skillet or oven.
5. Spread tzatziki sauce on each pita, then layer with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and cooked chicken.
6. Wrap tightly and serve immediately.
Notes
You can add feta cheese or olives for extra flavor.
For a spicier version, add a dash of chili flakes or harissa sauce.
Great served with a side of fries or a Greek salad.
